Excels in producing good quantities of straight, marketable fruits. A reliable, open pollinated variety that, under favourable conditions, high yields. 

Vigorous variety produces good yields of straight, smooth fruits. Sow 2-3 seeds, 1 cm deep, 45-60 cm apart. Seeds can also be started indoors 3-4 weeks before frost date for earlier harvests. Optimal soil temperature for germination is 29-35˚C. Fertilize seedlings with fish emulsion if they start to yellow. Harden plants off by reducing temperature, water, and fertilizer. Plant outdoors after danger of all frost has passed.
