Flat, wheel-like squash with white skin. Flesh is deep orange, sweet, very firm and very dry. Flesh is so firm it maintains its structure after being cooked. Sow 2-3 seeds, 2-3 cm deep, 45-60 cm apart. Seeds can also be started indoors 3-4 weeks before frost date for earlier harvests. Optimal soil temperature for germination is 29-35˚C. Harden plants off by reducing temperature, water, and fertilizer. Plant outdoors after danger of all frost has passed.
