Gem Squash

Small, dark green summer squash or small winter squash with hard orange flesh. The fruit are between a baseball and a softball in size. Wonderful when cut in half and roasted with some butter and maple syrup. The hard shell gives you a neat bowl to eat out of.  We've grown them for years and my kids love them. These are originally from South Africa.
