Giant Prague Celeriac

5140 – Giant Prague. Heirloom.
Root storage vegetable with celery flavour. Delicious in winter soups, salads and baked dishes. Large solid smooth roots with white interiors. Start February through April, 12 weeks before the last frost. Keep temperatures between 15ÀöC (59ÀöF) and 29ÀöC (84ÀöF). Germination will take between 10-21 days. Sow the seed very shallowly or on the surface and keep moist. Set out when 10-12cm (4-5 in.) tall, in late May or June, 30cm (12 in.) apart in rows at least 45cm (18 in.) apart.
