Joan Rutabaga- Organic

5102 - Joan. This is a refined "American Purple Top" type with smooth roots. Like most rutabagas, the flesh is dense, rather hard and crispy. Roots are round, yellow fleshed with purple tops and a sweet, mild flavour. Joan is highly uniform and has good resistance to club root. Plant in early to midsummer for a fall harvest. Taste improves after a hard frost.Days to maturity: 90-100 days.
