First offered in 1864 as Texas Pole, then introduced in 1877 as Kentucky Wonder by James J. H. Gregory & Sons. Became so popular by 1901 that it was listed by 287 companies. Vigorous 150-200cm/5-7' plants yield clusters of green flat-oval 18-25cm/7-10" stringless pods. Great flavour, an all-time favourite. Pole bean.
