Scarlet Runner Beans

3730 - Scarlet Runner Beans (Phaseolus coccineus) 70 days. 
This heirloom variety was first grown in the 1600's, but introduced to the United States in the 1800's. Large clusters of red flowers abound on large, 10 foot vines. Pick the 12 inch pods when young for best flavour. A favorite of hummingbirds.
